FOUNDER & LEAD TRAINER

Kyra graduated with a bachelor's degree in Sociology from UCLA and a master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health from USC. She began her career in 2014 as a social worker; assisting individuals with co-morbid challenges, including mental, physical and substance use issues. For the past eight years, she has provided both psychotherapy and case management services to underserved communities within Los Angeles County.  Throughout her work as a social worker, she realized that she had a great passion for helping individuals with developmental challenges, and she went on to open her first Adult Residential Facility in 2016, supporting Regional Center service individuals with housing and other supportive service.  

Since then, she has branched into dedicating her time as a certified Person-Centered Thinking (PCT) trainer to both professionals and families. She also focuses much of her time to the Self-Determination Program by working as an Independent Facilitator for eligible individuals. 

Kyra prides herself in being an advocate for change for individuals with developmental disabilities.  Her approach is always person-centered and she believes that everyone has the right to make their own choices and be the change agent of their own lives.
